Bob Dylan’s whiskey company, Heaven’s Door Spirits, is being sued by Heaven Hill Distillery of Kentucky for trademark infringement over the use of a logo that is allegedly confusingly similar.

Heaven’s Doors Spirits only debuted this year but was sent a Cease-and-Desist back in April, stating its “stacked” logo was too similar to that of Heaven Hill’s. Heaven’s Doors attorneys replied stating there would be no confusion and they would not be complying with the demands.

This Friday, a lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court of Louisville, claiming Heaven Hill has used the trademark for more than 80 years.

Neither company was available for comment.
