Counterfeit goods worth up to £50,000 were today seized in Shropshire, England, with a 28-year-old man being arrested on suspicion of possession of the counterfeit merchandise.
Among the confiscated items were football shirts, hair straighteners, and 400 pairs of trainers.

Police stopped the vehicle carrying the goods after observing its odd driving. This lead to police and trading standards seizing the £50,000 worth of counterfeit goods from the individual’s car and home in Shropshire.

“This is a significant amount of counterfeit goods we have seized,” Sergeant Darren Stacey “We are now working closely with Trading Standards to carry out our investigation.”
