Earlier last month, Amster Rothstein & Ebenstein LLP, a full-service, New York-based intellectual property law firm, has expanded its practice by adding a group of professionals from the prominent intellectual property boutique Cooper & Dunham LLP.

The group includes veteran practitioners Christopher C. Dunham, John P. White and Gary J. Gershik, along with recent partner Darren Haber and several associates and scientific advisors.

The new group represents a wide range of clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies and brings particular expertise in biotechnology, chemistry and pharmaceutical arts. The group has extensive patent litigation experience in Federal Courts throughout the United States, as well as administrative proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including Inter-Partes Review (IPR), Post-Grant Review (PGR) and appeals, and before patent offices outside of the United States, including opposition proceedings.

“We are thrilled to add this team to our firm who are among the most experienced intellectual property professionals in the industry. Their depth of experience provides significant value to the firm, our clients and the industries we serve” said Anthony P. Lo Cicero, ARE Law’s Managing Partner. “We are now positioned better than ever to provide a wide array of intellectual property services to our clients.”

“When looking for a new professional home, we sought a leading intellectual property law firm that complimented our practice and would allow us to continue to efficiently provide exceptional service to our clients,” said Gary J. Gershik. “We look forward to leveraging our collective experience.”

Douglas A. Miro, ARE Law partner noted, “We are proud to add this team to the Amster family. The addition of our new colleagues solidifies our market position as a leading intellectual property law firm.”
