Anand and Anand expands its Trademarks practice with Dishani and Maitrayee

September 15, 2026 – Anand and Anand has further expanded its Trademarks practice with the hiring of Dishani Garg and Maitrayee Sinha as Senior Associates.

Garg brings over eight years of experience in intellectual property, with a focus on trademarks, copyright, media, and brand strategy. Her experience includes advising global brands on international trademark portfolios, prosecution, opposition, clearance, and enforcement, as well as rebranding and brand-related matters. She has also worked on copyright, licensing, and commercial matters involving media, entertainment, and digital platforms.

Sinha brings experience in trademark prosecution and contentious matters, including opposition and rectification proceedings, Registry hearings, portfolio management, and enforcement. She has worked on portfolios across India, Europe, and Asia and has advised clients on trademark availability, pre- and post-registration strategy, renewals, and enforcement. Her experience also includes managing large portfolios for multinational and publicly listed companies.
