International law firm Bird & Bird today bolsters its market-leading Intellectual Property (IP) team in London with the arrival of new brand management partner Josh Little.
Little brings a wealth of expertise in brand protection strategy, trademark, copyright, and design advice and enforcement. He advises on worldwide trademark clearance, prosecution and enforcement, IP licensing, exploitation, and commercialization and dispute resolution. His practice covers a diverse range of sectors, including gaming, technology, retail, fashion, food and beverage, education, and healthcare. He joins the firm as a partner from Marriot Harrison, having previously been part of Fieldfisher’s IP team.
Bird & Bird’s London brand management team has more than doubled in the last two years due to client demand. Little’s appointment will continue to strengthen the firm’s offering for clients seeking brand management expertise.
Marta Koremba, Hank Leung, Uwe Lüken, and Allan Poulter, co-heads of Bird & Bird’s international Trade Marks Group, comment: “Our brand management team has grown significantly over the last few years and Josh’s arrival shows that this is set to continue in 2025. Josh will be an excellent addition to the international Trade Marks Group, bringing with him an impressive track record of establishing and building strong IP practices. We are thrilled to have him onboard.”
Phil Sherrell, Head of London, said: “As we usher in the New Year, Josh’s arrival not only signifies a moment in London’s ambitious growth strategy but also underlines our commitment to international expansion. Josh’s expertise will significantly bolster what is an already strong brand management practice, and we wish him a very warm welcome.”
Little adds: “I have always been struck by Bird & Bird’s commercial and pragmatic attitude and am excited to be joining the market-leading IP team.
