New York, New York—March 11, 2025—The International Trademark Association (INTA) is honored to announce Louise Felton, Vice President, Marketing, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., as the Opening Ceremonies Keynote Speaker for its 2025 Annual Meeting, taking place in San Diego, California, from May 17 to May 21, 2025.
Felton will discuss the importance of brand building, the value in visibility and relatability, and driving business success through compelling and differentiated approaches. She will also showcase the opportunities that marketing and legal can forge by working together.
In her current role, Felton has led efforts through several innovative marketing initiatives to elevate the Qualcomm brand and increase the company’s brand awareness and value. In doing so, she has also taken on a central role in driving partnerships between the business’s branding and marketing team and its in-house intellectual property (IP) legal team.
Felton has enjoyed a distinguished career as a brand and marketing expert across diverse industries, including technology, financial services, entertainment, and health care. Specializing in brand strategy, she has extensive experience with operationalizing brand identity and messaging, leveraging market insights, and driving forward-thinking campaigns that fortify brand values and mission. Prior to Qualcomm Technologies, Felton held senior marketing leadership roles at several global brands, including Ketchum, Intel, McAfee, McCann, Yahoo!, and Y&R.

Beyond the Opening Ceremony, the educational program currently features 112 speakers from 37 jurisdictions, with more speakers joining the roster daily. Among the speakers are representatives from the Danish Patent and Trademark Office, IP Australia, the Slovenia IP Office, the Trademarks Opposition Board CIPO, the UK IP Office, the US Trademark and Patent Office, the US Court of International Trade, and the World Intellectual Property Organization.
Among the numerous brands represented are Amazon Inc., AT&T, Discord Inc.; Fender Musical Instruments Corporation; HARIBO Group; HP Inc.; Johnson & Johnson; Lululemon Athletica; Microsoft, Nestlé S.A.; New Balance Athletics, Inc.; Natura Cosmeticos S.A.; Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation; OpenAI; Seddiqi Holding; Spin Master Ltd; Royal Bank of Canada; and Uber Technologies, Inc.
The educational program is themed around “The Business of IP” across three dynamic tracks: Business and Technology, Law and Policy, and Professional Development and Career Advancement. This year’s Meeting also includes two new programming series: the In-House Practitioners Series and the Patent Series. The Opening Ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 18, 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm.
