New York, New York—July 17, 2025—The International Trademark Association (INTA) has opened registration for the final two new sessions of the groundbreaking “Integrating Intellectual Property (IP), Finance, and Valuation” Workshop Series. The first of these two workshops will take place in Singapore, on August 27, 2025, and the second will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on October 6, 2025.
The Integrating IP, Finance, and Valuation Workshop series is designed to bridge the gap between the legal and financial worlds by helping professionals (from both worlds) understand and convey how intangible assets—including designs, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets—contribute to corporate value. The series seeks to equip registrants with a comprehensive understanding of the IP landscape and how it can be used to shape business strategy and drive brand value.
The Singapore-based workshop will be held at Marina Bay Sands from 4:00 pm–5:30 pm SGT and will consist of two panels looking at how small or medium enterprises (SMEs) are thriving through private and public sector funding and how IP can be leveraged as a financial tool in lending practices. The workshop will also be bookended with introductory and closing remarks from our esteemed speakers and will contain focused, region-specific insights.
The Dubai-based workshop will be held at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm GST. In addition to a capsule keynote presentation, three panels will explore global trends in IP, non-traditional financing strategies for technological innovations, and the critical role of intangible assets in an SME’s growth and exit strategy.
Both workshops are free of charge and contain educational courses intended for financial analysts, executives, legal advisors, IP professionals, venture capitalists, private investors, business managers, and banking professionals.
“Across all economies, investment in intangibles is growing steadily in relation to tangible assets. This workshop series underscores how businesses can increase their overall value through effective IP management,” said INTA President Elisabeth Stewart Bradley. “At the same time, investors increasingly assess IP portfolios when evaluating companies, and having a holistic understanding of the intersection of IP and finance will give both finance and brand professionals a leg up on their competition.”
These two workshops respectively mark the third and fourth installment of this first-of-its-kind educational series, with the first two events taking place in London, UK, in December 2024, and New York City, US, in March 2025.
