New York, New York—April 16, 2025—The International Trademark Association (INTA) opened registration for its 2025 Trademark Practitioners and Administrators (TMAP) Meeting, taking place in Berlin, Germany, from September 28 to 30, 2025.
INTA’s TMAP Meeting is a must-attend event for trademark administrators, paralegals, young practitioners, and attorneys who oversee global trademark portfolios. The 2025 TMAP Project Team has crafted a robust educational program to equip registrants with the essential knowledge, tools, and skills to support their organizations through intellectual property (IP)-related issues.
This year’s educational program is designed to allow registrants to delve deeper into the hot-button issues and trends shaping the IP field today. These include artificial intelligence, bad faith filings, the EU’s new design directive, green claims, brand integrity, and the key challenges of international trademark prosecution, licensing, and influencer partnerships, among others.
“Our goal with the 2025 TMAP Meeting is to provide an intimate and focused environment where trademark practitioners can connect directly with industry experts and peers to discuss emerging topics shaping today’s IP landscape,” said 2025 TMAP Meeting Co-Chair Bahia Alyafi (Alyafi IP Group, Middle East). “It’s a chance to have real conversations, learn from one another’s experiences, and build meaningful connections. We want everyone to walk away not just more informed but truly inspired—armed with timely, practical insights and supported by our IP community.”
The TMAP Meeting is returning to Germany’s vibrant capital city after a successful gathering in Berlin in 2019. Since TMAP’s inception, this will be the third time the Meeting has been held outside the United States and the third time in Europe. Renowned for its thriving networking culture, dynamic economy, and a broad spectrum of burgeoning industries, Berlin will once again serve as an exceptional host city for the 2025 TMAP Meeting. The education is complemented by a range of Business Development activities that take advantage of Berlin as the host city.
“I am eager to convene with my fellow IP professionals, brand experts, and trademark administrators and practitioners in Berlin, Germany,” said 2025 INTA President-Elect Deborah Hampton (The Chemours Company, USA). “Berlin is a city that embodies innovation and cultural vitality, making it the perfect backdrop for any INTA meeting or conference. I especially look forward to connecting with global colleagues through business development activities around our beautiful host city.”
