New York, New York—September 30, 2025—The International Trademark Association (INTA) is pleased to announce that it will host the 2026 Trademark Administrators and Practitioners (TMAP) Meeting in the Inner Harbor neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland (USA).
The TMAP Meeting is INTA’s premier event for trademark administrators, paralegals, young practitioners, and attorneys who oversee global trademark portfolios, offering a dynamic platform for professional development, peer-to-peer learning, and global networking. The 2026 edition will bring together hundreds of IP professionals from around the world to explore the latest trends, tools, and best practices in trademark management.
Baltimore’s Inner Harbor is a fitting backdrop for next year’s TMAP Meeting. As one of America’s most storied port cities, Baltimore blends rich maritime history with a modern, energetic downtown. Registrants will enjoy easy access to cultural landmarks such as the National Aquarium, historic ships, and the Inner Harbor’s vibrant shopping and entertainment complex, as well as a thriving culinary and arts scene. The city’s walkable waterfront and welcoming atmosphere make it an ideal setting for learning and networking.
The Meeting will feature expert-led sessions on global trademark operations, enforcement, and technology, interactive workshops and roundtables tailored to in-house and law firm professionals, Business Development (BD) activities and community-building opportunities, and an exhibition floor where leading IP vendors showcase the latest tools and services.
“TMAP’s growing appeal speaks to the innovative project teams who design the educational program,” said INTA CEO Etienne Sanz de Acedo, speaking today from Berlin, Germany, where the 2025 TMAP Meeting is underway.
With more than 400 registrants from 65 jurisdictions, the 2025 TMAP Meeting is the largest yet to be held in Europe. With 499 registrants participating in the 2024 TMAP Meeting, held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, it was the Association’s largest-ever TMAP Meeting to date.
“This Meeting also highlights the important contributions and expanding responsibilities of trademark administrators. Effectively managing and maintaining trademark portfolios demands a high level of expertise and industry insight. We are pleased to offer a platform that allows these key players of our community to enhance their skills, further their careers, and connect with peers from around the world,” noted Mr Sanz de Acedo.
Registration for TMAP 2026 will open early next year. Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are also available. Learn more.
