In celebration of International Women’s Day, the International Trademark Association‘s (INTA) Pro Bono Committee is hosting a Virtual Legal Clinic to support female-driven small- to medium-sized enterprises, nonprofits, and charitable organizations.
About the clinic
Qualified applicants will have the opportunity to consult with volunteer trademark attorneys on a pro bono basis. Volunteers will:
- Answer legal questions
- Explain the trademark registration process
- Provide guidance on securing local resources.
Topics covered
- How to search and register trademarks
- Costs and timelines for trademark protection
- Resolving conflicts with existing trademarks
- Addressing application refusals
- Trademark renewal processes.
Eligibility requirements
This program is open to individuals and organizations with:
- A valid trademark issue
- Demonstrable financial need (e.g., tax information or bank statements).
