- Leading European Intellectual Property firm awarded the highest rating in sustainable business practices assessment
LONDON – European intellectual property firm Mewburn Ellis has achieved a significant milestone by earning the first Platinum medal for an IP firm from EcoVadis, the global sustainability ratings provider.
This leap from Silver to Platinum in their third year of submission underscores the firm’s dedication to transparency and continuous improvement in sustainability and positions Mewburn Ellis among the top 1% of all companies rated worldwide.
EcoVadis assessments evaluate environmental, social, and ethical performance across a broad range of metrics, incorporating environmental responsibility, employee and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
With over 130,000 companies in more than 180 countries and 220 industries using EcoVadis, Mewburn Ellis’s Platinum rating reflects a remarkable progression in a short period of time and underscores the firm’s commitment to embedding sustainability into every area of its business.
This achievement coincides with the launch of Mewburn Ellis’s 2024 Sustainability Report, which outlines the strategic initiatives and substantial progress made over the past year while setting ambitious goals for the future. Highlights include surpassing £1 million in charitable contributions, certification as a Great Place to Work, and validation of the firm’s net-zero targets by the Science-Based Targets initiative.
