Attorney at Law from Universidad Tecnológica de México, where she obtained the bachelor degree in Law; with Masters’ degree from Universidad Panamericana of Mexico City. She began her professional practice in 1992 in the law firm Calderón y de la Sierra.
Her professional practice has been focused mainly on procedures of infringement, nullities, cancellation actions and similar cases, including nullity lawsuits before The Federal Tribunal on Administrative Matters, Shelter appeals and in the Patents area.
In 2009, Mrs. Cruz decided to found, together with Mr. Tovar, the firm Tovar & Cruz in order to continue with her professional practice of intellectual property and corporate law.
Mrs. Cruz dominates Spanish and English languages.
