Olga Bischof joined PCB Byrne in 2023 as a consultant partner and brings with her a wealth of commercial litigation and arbitration expertise, having represented clients in disputes in all divisions of the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and pursuant to the rules of many arbitration institutions. This includes acting for Andrey Guriev in Alexander Gorbachev v. Andrei Grigoryevich Guriev: CL-2020-000358 which was identified earlier this year by The Lawyer as one of the top 20 cases of 2024.
Prior to joining PCB Byrne, Bischof was a Partner at Brown Rudnick, having trained at Gherson Solicitors. To date, Bischof has worked on a number of notable cases including representing Hermitage Fund in relation to a series of complex frauds perpetrated against it across multiple jurisdictions which led to the largest fraud case in history against the Russian Federation State budget. She was also a key member of the team acting for Recovery Partners GP Limited and Revoker LLP in the English High Court proceedings brought against Irakli Rukhadze and others concerning the unlawful diversion of a business opportunity, which resulted in a judgment in favor of the Claimants in excess of £100 million.
